Inspired by my childhood love of home-cooked food, I specialise in creating artisan Indian meals, snacks, pies, pastries, jams, award winning marmalades and baked goods from my kitchen in the heart of Nottingham’s Lady Bay neighbourhood.
I’ve been a professional food & beverage developer all of my working life, but when I was furloughed during the pandemic, I decided to turn my passion & long time dream into my very own micro food business – making the wholesome, tasty things that my friends and family have loved for sale to the public. Fresh interpretations, street food, to classics that are less familiar, and with a twist. Vegan and on trend gloriously innovative dishes always feature boldly in everything I do.
My mission for my Pop Up is to provide Indian food that’s authentic, exciting, healthy and affordable to everyone. The cafe is recognised by Rushcliffe borough council as being committed to sustainability and minimising waste. I use environmentally friendly packaging and have just been recommended by the Great Food Club.
